Every now and then, I play around with things. I inevitably lose interest before it reaches any kind of completeness, but sometimes it still feels like the mini-projects deserve to be seen.
Unless I also lose interest in this site, it might become a small collection of those mini-projects.
For now, I will at least try to dig out some of the old ones from my archives
With AI agents available to make your code for you, I decided to see how well it would work to make the AI write a new version of my old self portrait generator from 2017. I have not written a single line of this code myself, only told Augment Agent what I wanted from it.
To me, the fun stuff happens if you press "p" to change palette, and then "w" to generate a new palette. You might need to press it a few times to get a good one.
As part of a customer project, I made something using matter.js that had a slight feeling of the old game Bubble Bobble. Later the same week, I played around a bit more.
We went to Amsterdam for holiday, and visited the Van Gogh museum. The evenings, we spent in the comfortable sofas in a stylish flat in the Hoofddorppleinburt area, drinking drinks and finding an outlet for the inspiration we received.

I think the "free range" version turned out best, but there are also some other options.
Someone on Twitter had seen an image effect that they wanted to use for an album cover.
I figured that I could see how the effect was made, so I remade it in a flexible way using Javascript
